Tuesday sat from a chair watching as the soldiers did their training. She's been around for a while now and there was no sign that her parents would pay the ransom for her freedom. Besides she wasn't even running away or even trying to get away. So she didn't exactly have to stay in a cell. However the place was guard very well so there was no use to run.
The girl crossed her legs flicking her ears slightly. Her ears never did seem to raise really high but every once and a while they would twitch. She never understood why they did that but it didn't bother her. Apparently it always spooked her sister though. So she would purposely twitch while pretending to sleep and she'd think she was dead. Tuesday smiled at the thought and just flicked her cat like tail around. However like her ears it was only a little twitch. She didn't have much control over her tail either.
'It's so cold outside,'
she thought to herself giving off a pouting look as people walked by. She waited for a moment watching them leave with a tilted head and a playful expression. 'These people are so boring!' She crossed her arms glaring at the floor. 'Nobody even likes to talk to me!' She did get lonely here just like she did at home. The only difference was now she was on her own. Nobody was there to tuck her into a nice warm bed at night. She had to curl up in some strange cold room that she didn't even like. It was a lot worse here. She forced a smile on her face and jumped off her chair. 'I'll just have to get someone to talk to me! I'll make a few friends that will like me! If they don't then too bad because I'm going to talk to them anyways.' She quickly hopped over to a few of the soldiers. They stood up straight, listening to orders. She simply stood there in front of the few as if she belonged there. She waved once and then sat down on the ground in the middle of the clearing waiting for someone to notice her. [/blockquote]

Today was one of the days that Hudson had to train and discipline a select group of military soldiers with the intention of improving their battle skills and knowledge simply so they would prove better opponents to their hybrid opponents. A step down from actually participating in a risky confrontation with the enemy, but it would have to do for know; after all this was one of Hudson's duties. There were not many with the amount of skill, experience and authority as the reaper.
The infamous revolver was present at the colonel's side, sun shining off the polished, brown and black texture it had. Many of the men kept their eyes on it for a while when Hudson graced their eyes; the weapon had ended many lives ruthlessly and without mercy; it was not their intention to follow that trend.
Hudson grunted to himself as all the men stood before him, an average-sized group of the "specialist" soldiers that were supposed to be more skilled than all of the other grunts and medics. Well, it looked like Hudson would be the judge of that today. Wearing his uniform, Hudson's gloved-hand ran through his hair for a brief moment, getting ready to issue some more orders to test these humans in front of him. The noticeable strand of hair was across his cunning face, rolling up his sleeves shortly after to show his toned forearms
"Stay sharp, soldiers." Hudson calmly commanded, each of them having their hands near their firearms, "Draw!" He demanded all of a sudden, and in unison each soldier reacted by pulling out their small handgun to their side and aimed it straight on yet resisting the pull of the trigger. It had seemed these men and women were capable of drawing their pistol quick enough to save their own life. Impressive, to start off with.
However, the Reaper's attention was drawn by the appearance of a young girl, possibly about eighteen or seventeen, entering the group of soldiers. Wondering what stunt she was trying to pull, Hudson was fully aware that she was a captured hybrid and seemed harmless from what he had seen. He hadn't payed her much attention but was briefed on why the girl was here; Tuesday her name is. A bothered expression came to the colonel's face.
"Hybrid. Come over here, please." Hudson asked with a calm, yet sinister tone with a devious smile stuck on his face. A hand signal pointing towards the combat course let each soldier know that it was time for them to train at the obstacle and assault course constantly until Hudson deemed otherwise, because for now, he was going to see what this hybrid girl was pulling.

Tuesday watched as they drew their guns. She imagined being on the other side. But couldn't exactly imagine. She scooted over and then crawled in front of one of the guns leaning forward. "Ohhhh I get it~"
she said happily as she shrunk away to the side and attempting to get out of the view of the human that was glaring at her but too surprised to speak or yell. She let out a little laugh and just sat back down in her spot. She attempted to raise her ears but again they just twitched a few times not even budging. She remembered how the doctor had told her there were no nerves in her ears and tail. But she didn't know how that related to them not being able to move. Perhaps her ears and tail were just weak. She didn't know if that was true either. Whatever the case was she didn't care. Sometimes people mistooken her ears for hair. So she would just go along with that if someone wasn't smart enough to see what they really were. She watched as the soldiers had left she smiled and waved goodbye in a friendly manner. They didn't seem to notice but a few other people around that did might just think she was weird. Tuesday was actually a happy person who loved to just be friendly. But she found playing games friendly so people got annoyed with her easily. Thats when she heard someone call for a hybrid. Her ears and tail twitched around a bit and she just stared at him with an innocent smile. "I'm coming right over daddy!" she called waving at him. She quickly jumped to her feet and skipped over to him standing a little to close. She stared up at him with a little smile on her face. "Are you trained in the art of manners? Because I didn't hear a please or my name~ I might have came over quicker if you used please or my name." she crossed her arms playfully with her innocent smile turning into a playful grin. Daddy? Wait a second...Daddy? Hudson was confused as to why this young hybrid teenager thought it was necessary to call a high ranking officer such as himself "daddy". The cold colonel kept his sly smirk as the seemingly playful being made her way over to him, looking like she was overly excited for something.
As she got closer, Hudson began to notice the hybrid features on her appearance. It was actually rather intriguing. He had slain many hybrids, although he never really stopped in mid-battle to admire the unusual traits they possessed. He was too busy slaughtering the ones that attempted to slaughter him. Tuesday had cat ears as well as a cat-like tail, which most likely linked to an ability she had, if she knew how to use it, according to his knowledge that hybrids had some sort of ability. Hudson's memory successfully allowed him to remember some vital parts of the briefing he was given about the prisoner, "cat-like features" being it.
Tuesday eventually got close to him so she was right in front of him, doing something many grown men and women feared doing, and she showed no worry in doing it either; the hybrid obviously was not aware of the reputation the Reaper had gained.
Hudson's calm, brown eyes stared at Tuesday, a smirk on his face. She was rather rude for a prisoner surrounded by enemies of her side. "Tuesday, is it?" Hudson asked, knowing her name anyway. "Funny. All of the hybrids I have met in war haven't lived long enough to even speak a word to me." He muttered gently, a slight tint of bitterness in his voice.

Tuesday smiled and nodded. "Yes, sir it is!" She was half tempted to call him 'daddy' again. But since he was nice enough to call her by her eral name rather then just 'hybrid' she decided against it. "Since you already know my name I need to know your name! It's not fair if I don't." she planned on to continue calling this man 'daddy' until he gave her a name. Or just when he was being rude perhaps. "Oh well I talk fast. And plus I'm not like the hybrids you meat in war." she put her hands behind her back taking a step even closer. This time even she felt a little weird. However she didn't even budge. She looked streight up at him and blinked. "Because when they tried putting a gun in my hand half the hybrid army lost part of their ear. It was an accident though..." She wondered if he'd find that funny. She giggled a few times because she knew she did. Who would honestly put a gun in her hand? She wasn't sure why they wanted her in the army in the first place considering who her father was. She'd be a good person to hold captive until given money. That's what happened anyways and her parents didn't even bother responding. "They didn't even bother making me a medic. They got annoyed." she frowned a little at the thought of them sending her home. She wondered why she hadn't bothered anyone here. She finally gelt awkward enough and took half a step back. "Maybe my parents think you'll get annoyed of me too and kick me out and thats why they didn't pay the ransome fees." The statment was mostly for herself in hopes of an explenation why her family basically abandoned her as soon as she became a prisoner of war. She despeartly hoped that it wasn't because she annoyed them too. She had enough of the sad thoughts and forced a happy smile on her face. "You called me over~?" she asked keeping that curious look plastered on her face. [/blockquote]

"Colonel to you, little girl." Hudson told her, somewhat mocking Tuesday and her playful attitude by referring to her as someone younger than her age. She certainly was an interesting being, not feeling fear in the base of the enemy and persisting on socializing with those that kill her kind.
What surprised the colonel however was how she reacted to his cruel comment; she seemed somewhat unfazed by the words out of his mouth that suggested he was a cold-blooded killer and instead of backing away...moved closer. Did this girl have no fear? Did she not fear death? Was she just a slow learner? As perceptive as Hudson was, it was not something he could call at this moment in time, so his dark brown eyes simply continued to examine the hybrid opposite him.
According to what his ears allowed him to hear, Tuesday was not to be trusted with a gun, or any firearm for that matter. Why? She had already said what was needed; she was absolutely terrible with them. Any hopes of turning her against her own people in the war was now out of his head as she would probably end up wounding human military soldiers than hybrid enemies. Not good. At all. Although, her next point was an interesting one. Could she be a medic? Could she be of some use to this faction?
That was something Hudson intended to find out soon enough, although he was not sure when. It helped to have an extra medic on the team and even if this girl was a hybrid, she wasn't aligned with the scum that dared to oppose the humans. Not to mention, as much as he loved to rain death upon hybrid opponents, Hudson would not be content with killing a young girl who posed no threat.
"Perhaps...Your parents are gone?" Hudson cruelly suggested, wondering himself if the parents had not been heard of for that long, then something might of happened to them. "Who's to know that something did not happen to mummy and daddy?" He continued, a devious tone in his calm yet cold voice. "One of my duties is to turn these above-average grunts into stone, cold killers. You don't want to interrupt my duty," Hudson muttered, focusing on her eyes with his piercing pupils, "Do you?".

Hudson just scowled as she called him "daddy" once more, seeming totally not bothered by the cruel, suggested words that came out of his mouth. It was an odd fact that he could throw a scare into most people who knew of him, yet this one girl was hardly intimidated by his strong, military presence. Perhaps she really did not feel fear, or was she simply not that clever? Either way, she still insisted to carry on talking.
According to her, her parents actually knew where she was yet still were not heard of. Hudson smirked a little more at the sound of this fact; they must really not want her back in their lives, have no money or are simply dead. All potential possibilities led to the same thing; Tuesday would be here for a while.
Smirking at the mockery she made of him, Hudson thought he would turn the silly joke against her, "Yes. They probably are." Hudson replied, implying that the young hybrid was just an unwanted girl.
Tuesday's next point was an interesting one, followed by physical movement that possibly suggested that...she knew something. Hudson gave a piercing stare with his devious pupils, then a grin appeared on his cunning face. His right, gloved-hand moved over to the revolver on his right side, gently touching the handle of the gun as if he was about to pull the weapon out, "And why is that?" Hudson questioned with that sly smirk and menacing but calm look.

Tuesday frowned as he scolded him but it didn't change anything really. She was going to still call him 'daddy.' She was catching on a little though and thinking back to a minute or two ago and realized that he himself is a little scary. She didn't want to show that though. Something in her gut said if she started to randomly show fear then he'd have more of a reason to laugh at her. Besides, she's already given him some ammo to make fun of her in the first place.
Then he agreed with her. Tuesday though felt like she knew for a fact her parent's wouldn't come back. Maybe the Human army asked for way too much money? But shouldn't your daughter be worth it? Apparently her parents were cheaper then she thought. Well, good riddance. It wasn't as easy as just saying goodbye though. We were talking about her family here. Her parent's raised her and then abandoned her. She was glad he didn't ask about them. If she wasn't important enough to save then they weren't important enough to dwell on. So why was she forcing so much energy on this? It wasn't like she was going to cry...she had to put effort in not crying but she wouldn't. Not right now at least, not in public. 'I'm better off without them,'
she thought angrily. The notion was supposed to be out loud but she was afraid if it was then she would start crying. So instead she would only share it with herself. Finally he responded though. She smiled again and stood on her toes with a sly stare. "I've been in the hybrid's fort," she explained. That he already knew. She waited for a second and then stood flat on her feet. "My father is important and rich. When he asks questions they get answered." she crossed her arms wondering herself where she was going with this. It wasn't a lie so far. It was all the truth. She just wanted to make sure that they would keep her around for a while. She felt the human army was actually different. Despite the fact she was a prisoner, and despite the fact they discriminated against her, and despite the fact that they only wanted money and that’s why she was still alive...they put up with her antics. But when they catch on that her parents aren't going to pay what would they do? Kill her? Kick her out? She didn't want the first one and in a strange way she didn't want to leave either. "Even if those questions are about military positions and tactics the hybrid army uses and after the incident with the gun they wouldn't let me leave my father's side." She wondered why they would keep her around and let her listen to their plans. However the thing was they might have or they might not have let her stick around. She didn't want him knowing if she was right or wrong. She desperately hoped though he would believe her. Suddenly it occurred to her though. What if the humans tortured the information out of her? Then find out if it were true or not? Either way someone would be extremely mad at her. She'd be seen as either a traitor or a liar. Well as far as she was concerned she wasn't the traitor here. Her parent's didn't try to come and get her and the hybrid army kicked her out. It's their fault. They should have been more careful. Maybe they wouldn't torture her though? Perhaps they would just interrogate her. In that case she could have some fun with this. Maybe get a nice place to sleep at night out of it. However she wondered how much trouble she'd get in with the human army. Maybe they wouldn't believe her and just ignore it and see it as an attempt to triad information for her freedom. [/blockquote]

As the words came out of Tuesday's mouth, an interested grin was slapped onto Hudson's feared face while his gloved-hand continued to rest on the handle of the deadly revolver on his side. The colonel wondered what sort of information this young girl possessed, and as harmless as she seemed, the information she could possibly provide could make her more dangerous than most of the military soldiers. Could; assuming she had vital information that would tip the scales massively.
Listening closely, his eyes slowly drifted to keep an eye on the soldiers that were constantly proving their agility and endurance by continuously running the assault course. Satisfied with what he saw and glad (for their sake) that no one was attempting to slack or cheat training, his brown eyes fell back to Tuesday.
So if she was telling the truth, her father was a wealthy figure with relations with the hybrid army, and to top it off she had been in the headquarters of the enemy; an interesting story. If it was true, then she could know the layout of their base and what type of weapons, defenses and potential plans they had in store. If Hudson could get his hands on such information, the hybrid side would surely crumble; his ruthless tactics and strategic supremacy would give the hybrids a massive run for their money. Although what were the odds of such a thing?
Tuesday seemed to be only eighteen, he was not expecting someone of that age with her attitude to even give a damn about such things so how would she know?
Hudson's hand slowly drifted away from the revolver to his side and eventually his arms found themselves in a crossed position on his muscular chest, covered by the dark uniform that the military was known for. He wanted at least some valuable intel from the girl known as Tuesday, and he planned to get it like the shark he was, always getting what he wanted with any method he could use; he could only hope to save time if she gave him good knowledge of the hybrid base now, otherwise other methods could need to be put in place.
"That's quite the claim, hybrid. Care to share the information?" Hudson asked with a sharp tone, in a way that should let Tuesday know it was more of a secret order than a question. Hudson's brown eyes connected with hers, a strong stare present as he patiently waited for the answer to come.

She just didn't feel right about this anymore. If they found out that she was lying she would be in some trouble. She stared at him for a long moment going deep into thought. If she continued this lie then they would eventually find out and thats when the trouble would start. Besides, it was never good to lie and she assumed that her parents meant military personnel were included. However here was the problem: she wasn't completely lying. Her father knew something but if she told him that part was true then he would be in trouble too...she didn't want her family to get in trouble too. Wait a second...they left her here and didn't try to come save her. Why should she protect them if they wouldn't even bother to save their own daughter? Perhaps because she didn't want them in here with her. She never wanted to see them again.
In a strange way she wanted to see them though. To tell them off or something. Her emotions were beginning to get extremely confusing. She was beginning to realize how much she was zoning out. He'd begin to realize she was lying if she wasn't careful. However she was lying--not completely and had to make a choice to tell him the truth and put her father in danger or continue lying and put herself in danger.
Her mind began to race and her lower lip began to quiver. "I-I...."
How could she buy herself some time to think? She blinked a few times trying not to cry. He wasn't saying anything and she felt pressured to respond. She let out a deep breath and then stared at him. "Okay so I'm lying a little. But you sir, are in a perfect position." She wondered where she was taking this. She didn't give him time to respond though. "You have the daughter of an important man. As a child I didn't get out much. But when I did I was always with my father. So people know I'm his daughter. But they don't know I'm a prisoner. They assume I'm back home safe and sound. So if they see me alone they know who I am. Do with that what you will--I'm willing to help you guys out for a few conditions..." She wasn't sure what they would make her do or if they would even care about her offer to help. Perhaps she could help though without her family getting involved? That would be perfect for her. She wouldn't have to face them and she perhaps get her conditions. Unless they laugh in her face. At least she tired? [/blockquote]

Before she was able to speak after her slight stutter of the word 'I', the tone and stutter gave Hudson the slight impression that she had lied somewhere along the way...Or the whole way through. This feeling he had was a bitter one as he could of done so much with precious information such as that, although his possible plans could be ruined in a heartbeat if she had been messing around with him. The type of girl the young and playful Tuesday was made him think in his cold mind that she might of been lying to get out of something, or it was probably another playful stunt of hers...Like the name-calling of 'Daddy'.
And then the first words after the worrying stutter confirmed one of his fears; a lie. Hudson scowled at the hearing of this dire truth, but how much of it was fake? The half-surprised colonel wondered just how much was not the truth. The story did seem somewhat fictional in a way, would a different story be told? Or would details be added and discarded now that the truth was coming out of the smoke.
Surprise; Hudson assumed the wealthy father was going to be the fib of the tale, although it appeared his assumption would be incorrect. His scowl turned into a dirty smirk as she spoke; the things he could do with the daughter of an important hybrid figure. His ruthless mind was already starting stages, planning vicious threats, taunts and attacks, although his heart of stone was somewhat cracked, allowing some remnants of emotion to hold back from causing harm to such an innocent female. His scarred morality stopped torture from coming to his shark-like mind, although Hudson was far from kind and still had other plans for the hybrid girl.
"Conditions?" Hudson asked with a mocking smile and a slight chuckle, "Be serious, Tuesday. You are in the headquarters of killers, consider your 'conditions' payed off for simply being allowed to force a breath through that young mouth of yours." He stated, not holding the truth back and forcing in his cunning. "If we say jump, you say 'how high', when we hand you a gun, you pull the trigger, say we question you, the answers are expected..." Hudson told her, his voice becoming rather aggressive, his face coming close to Tuesday's as he knelt down, the power of intimidating likely to come into play. "Do I make myself clear, hybrid?" The colonel finished, voice slowly toning down to a gentle mutter, dark brown eyes locked to hers.

A slight breeze caught John's bangs as he approached the Colonel from about twenty yards away. He was wearing his business suit and carried a leather briefcase at his side. His face was stern, his eyes focused, and tunnel vision on as he approached the man.
As he got closer, his eyes had not shifted and thus never acknowledged the girl that was standing behind the Colonel. John was a fiercely ambitious politician with the human's extreme anti-hybrid caucus, giving him tremendous support from a majority of the military culture as they needed supporters in the regular civilian society.
John sat his briefcase down and smirked, now only standing a few feet away. "Colonel, good to see you." The charm oozed from the man, he smiled genuinely as he extended his hand. "I'm glad to have caught you at this opportune time."

Well this wasn't going as planned. She had thought he would at least humor her and listen. The only problem she seemed to have with these humans is they were bossy. They just didn't know how to deal with her. She simply wanted someone to at least listen. It's not like she was demanding money or something impossible. In her mind the safest place to be was this fort. Outside the fort it was dangerous and people were struggling. Inside people pretty much left her alone. If all she wanted was safety she had it. She just wanted to ensure that it lasted until the war was over. If she played her cards right she wouldn't get into too much trouble. But come on, we are talking about Tuesday here. If she's not in trouble then she's plotting a way to get into trouble.
"Fine,"
she hissed leaning back as he leaned in. "Don't expect me to cooperate then!" She wondered how they got people around here to talk. Did they torture them? If they did then they would only have to prove themselves once and she would talk. But she wouldn't be the same person after that. However if he was the interrogate around here and if he was using his techniques he usually used on her now then it wasn't going to work. She bit her bottom lip and just glared back. He seemed really scary but she still didn't want to show her fear. "Oh you are crystal clear, human" she responded narrowing her eyes. "I'll refuse to cooperate though." she quickly added. "Because you are not the boss of me~" Her voice sounded light and happy as she spoke the last line. "But if you want cooperation then I suggest yo--" She hadn't even noticed the man walking up to the Colonel. But when he finally did she let out an uncontrolled hiss that sounded just like a cat's. "You can wait! I was talking to him yah' know!" she crossed her arms narrowing her eyes at him waiting for a response. [/blockquote]

Tuesday was showing great resistance for the type of girl she was, and while this bravery impressed Hudson, it also irritated him; Why could it not be simply with this girl? It had seemed she was ignoring the obvious harm that could come her way at any moment, and he had the feeling she knew it was there and could happen, the fear was present in her eyes and slightly in her soft voice, although she continued to block it out as if it was not there.
Hudson just grunted out of irritation, standing up and looking down on the hybrid girl that stood before him. Apparently he was not the boss of her, but the reality was, he was in charge of her and could do whatever he wanted with Tuesday. However, telling that to someone like her already allowed Hudson to know it would be a waste of words due to her grand resistance of orders and control; how one could act so reckless and rude in an enemy base was beyond him.
Out of nowhere, a new voice entered the conversation that the human and hybrid were having, and he seemed to need the colonel for...something? Hudson's dark eyes lifted up to see who had spoken to him, and if it was a soldier that quit their training to speak with him, then god help them for why they did so without question. But, his eyes spotted a different man instead, someone he had not seen too much of, although he was fully aware of their kind; Politicians.
The Reaper was aware that many people hated politicians and their reputation for being liars and cheats graced them like honor did to a samurai, however Hudson wasn't ignorant enough to believe such words based on what could be a few truths to the rumor that burned them all.
A neutral expression came from Hudson, not a smile or a frown, just a look. As Tuesday began to speak once more, Hudson gently placed his gloved-hand over her loud mouth, attempting to keep her quiet for at least a few seconds if it was possible. "The pleasure's all yours." Hudson arrogantly stated, a slight, sly smirk coming to his cunning face, "Something you need me for, politician?" Hudson continued, staring at the man as he waited for a reply.
